Does anybody ever really vote for someone because of a celebrity endorsement?

I mean, at least Springsteen has some grasp of politics and seems to have boned up on history, but... come on.

Oh -- and, for the record, Springsteen has at least four full on masterpiece albums under his belt and a few others that are fucking terrific,
so suck it, funk.

Probably. Remember that one girl who posted here, the one who named her baby boy "Adrock"? I mean, not even Adam, but ADROCK. I'm pretty sure she's the type who would cast her vote the same way Mr. Horovitz would. There are some fans that let musicians affect their lives TOO much, if you know what I'm saying.

Granted, there's probably only 20 really bat-shit insane fans out there who will change their votes now.

I had been thinking about voting for McCain. Up until yesterday McCain had really impressed me with his free gas and burritos program. Then when I read Bruce Springsteen said he was endorsing Barack Obama, I changed my mind and am now voting for Barack!

Springsteen is my write-in candidate. I figure, if he's handing out an endorsement, he obviously is the best judge of what's best. Why shouldn't
he be First Boss? (y)

You've probably heard shit on the radio, but by and large, I doubt that it's his best stuff.

Good of you to step up, though. Respect. (y)

Elton John endorsed Clinton.

Does that make it even?
