George Clinton produced Freaky Styley for the Chili Peppers. I haven't heard it so I can't vouch if it's good or not though.

One more reason that I hate Phil Collins is that he produced some Eric Crapton LP

John Lennon produced Harry Nilsson's album Pussycats. It's one my favorite albums.

Edit: Speaking of Beatles, George Harrison and Todd Rundgren co-produced Badfinger's third album, Straight Up.

Ah, yes. Also, Raw Power - Stooges. Though a lot of people seem to think he fucked it up.

Ooops, your'e right, my bad. I get those two mixed up. Very similar albums as far as the sound they went for.

Nile Rogers coproduced Bowie's Let's Dance
Andy Sneap has produced a gazillion LP's but most notably Exodus ~ The Atrocity Exhibition- Exhibit A and Testament ~ The Formation of Damnation
George Clinton produced RHCP's Freaky Styley

On a Side Note: Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh scored the music for Wes Anderson's movies Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, and The Life Aquatic w/ Steve Zissou(Which if my memory serves me correct had amazing interpretations of old Bowie songs). And I think we can all agree that the music scores for these movies help bring these movies to the heights of greatness they are

That is badass. Those first three albums may be the best 1-2-3 punch ever made, unbelievable momentum all with in a two year period. Each successive disc tighter and stronger.

Also Jeff Lynne co-produced Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever

It's got some great songs on it, but I really don't think of that as a great album.

Relative to Lou Reed, it's pretty great.

Relative to music in general, it's kinda alright.
