The New Weezer Single "Pork And Beans"

So they put a fairly long snippet of the first single off "The Red Album" (at least that's what everyone's referring to it by) on their MySpace. (http://www.myspace.com/weezer) It's called "Pork And Beans". I gotta say, I'm really digging it. Album hits in June!

Yeah, the song starts out very "un-Weezer" then with the chorus hits your faith is restored :)

Sounded good enough to me, it did sound a lot like something off of the Blue Album, which is always a good thing.

On a side note, Rivers has been referencing rap lately and it's been making me laugh in a good way. He said that he wants to do a southern rap on the album, name dropping Timbaland in the song, and saying their genre is crunk and hyphy on myspace :)
