my eyes have been itching really really really (that's 3 reallys) bad the past 4 days... it's driving me crazy. i'm sure it's my allergies. i've had bad allergies as long as i can remember. i've also had nose bleeds as long as i can remember. it's really annoying. i have at least 1 nose bleed a week. and when the seasons change i get 1 or 2 a day

i feel like i have tiny fire ants crawling all over my eyes. i refuse to take any sort of medication unless i'm about to die. i used to take these shots weekly when i was a kid... but it never seemed to work that well.

is there any sort of natural cure for itchy eyes? i tried some visine and it really burns... just makes me wanna itch more. i don't want to go to a doctor. i don't have much $

damn you spring! DAMN YOoOoOoOU!!!!

Allergies? you wanna talk about allergies????

OK. I have Aquagenic Urticharia. Wiki it. Only around 30 cases of it are known in the world.

It means I am allergic to water touching my skin. Any type of liquid for that matter. Even my own sweat!! If I stay in the shower/beach water/pool for too long (longer than about 20-30 mins) I get red itchy hives all over my torso and back. Even if I go running or something and I sweat the same thing happens. Antihistamine medications have absolutely no effect on me.

Luckily I have largely grown out of it, its not as bad as it was in my teenage years. It was really bad then. I didn't even know it was that rare until a current affairs style program had a sob story about a girl who was allergic to water, and I was like 'big deal, thats what I have' and the press went wild over it. Then I found out there were only 30 known cases. I must be number 31.

Anyway back to your problem, take an antihistamine. They don't work on me but they work for everyone else.

ohhh WOW! that's crazy! i feel for you, i do.

i have a weird allergy too! it doesn't have a name, i don't think, b/c i've asked my Dr. about that before.

mine's autoimmune, i'm allergic to the serum in my blood. so basically i'm allergic to myself. i also am pretty much allergic to every food. so because my body is always fighting itself, anything else i'm subjected to that i'm allergic to, i get a TRUE allergic reaction. it sucks. i pretty much have hives on a daily basis.

they say they can fix me, but they'd have to treat me like a leukemia patient and give me these super expensive drugs and a total blood transfusion. um, thanks but no thanks.

Fish/seafood for me. The last time I accidentally ate some my bottom lip turned into what felt like concrete (I never swallowed it, and it was only in my mouth for a second and if you've seen my lips that was one helluva piece of lip concrete!). I'd hate to think what it would have done to my throat if I had done so.
