I've never "celebrated" before but out here people just use it as an extra reason to get baked. So sure I'll join in. I'm so not used to this mentality still.

Last night I went to a "It Turns 420 At Midnight" show at the UCB LA Theater and it was fucking amazing. Matt Besser and Doug Benson and others, all stoned and doing sets. Obviously the easiest crowd you will ever have to perform in front of.

I didn't think anybody would actually light up in the theater but as soon as the lights went down every other person started smoking. It was nuts! And awesome.

Be gay and tell me I'm not the only one doing stupid stonery shit today.

I don't smoke but my guy does and he's going to some kinda party where they're going to eat food cooked with pot....but honestly he smokes so much, this day is no different then any other.

i celebrated passover today instead. i'm not jewish but my roommate is and a few of our friends are and it turns out a seder is basically an excuse to get drunk and eat a bunch of food so a bunch of us celebrated that. i just finished capping off the celebration by doing a shitload of greasy jew dishes but up until then it was a lot of fun

i went to a cookout that turned into a 4/20 party. i don't smoke, so i didn't partake. but BOY was there a lot of pot there. at one point there were 3 blunts, 2 joints and 2 bowls being passed. that's a lot for 10 people to be sharing.

i swear i had a contact high b/c i got really lazy and went to sleep around 9:00 last night.

Last night we went to a Chuck E Cheese rip off place, ate a lot of pizza, played some mini golf, and failed epically at Dance Dance Revolution. Something tells me my life is spiraling into a world of seediness and immorality.

Yeah it sounds like a pretty cool idea. 3 people sounds about right, still pretty good going to do 8 beers each in an hour though. I'd like to do that shit with my friends, although it would probably be something more challenging than a henry.

The thing that made me leery of a seder is just how time-consuming it is.

Were you familiar with the various elements beforehand? Either way, did it seem to go on too long?

I know a lot of us just sit and plow through food, not taking time to fully enjoy a meal, so I fear I'm probably really conditioned to get itchy
during something like this.

well most of us weren't jewish and the ones who were weren't very serious about it, so we skipped over a lot of it. we didn't do any of the songs or anything, we just read some of the haggadah things and drank the wine and found the kofi annan or whatever it was called. it was a little time consuming but it helps when nobody wants to be solemn about it

Yeah we had a huge joint and there were other small joints, two ginormous blunts and then like 7 bongs.

The problem with my team is one person didn't drink and the other didn't smoke so I was the only one doing both.

Rules were: It had to be this certain beer that's like an alterna-Corona (can't remember the name).
No eating.
Each time someone pukes it's a 2 beer penalty for the team.

I just realised that ironically yesterday was the first time I didn't blaze in quite a while, cuz I was working all day and didn't get a chance to pick up. I had basically been on a massive drink/smoke bender from Thursday-Saturday night so I just had one beer or some shit. I just rolled a nice fatty to go with a nice fresh beer, so this can be my own personal celebration of Dooby Day.

Oh great, now I'm corrupting the board with my hooligan antics. I NEVER SHOULD HAVE ADMITTED ANYTHING!

It was really fun actually. The whole indoor mini-golf course was painted in day glow colors. This included the Abe Lincoln, dinosaur, broken down truck, and Grand Canyon obstacles. Add to that the black lights and it was a headache waiting to happen. It looked so cool it was worth it. Plus they had a Taiko drum rip off that we didn't have time to play. We might go again next week and you're invited.
