^ when you look for "belgian pie" on most of those cooking sites, it doesnt really seem to come up with much in the way of results. i found one with the right topping, but i didnt see any butter in the recipe and no peaches for filling.

and the wiki section on belgian cuisine has nothing of help. they just talk about the chocolates for dessert

You know what you might do?

A lot of newspapers have a cooking section where people can write in, asking for recipes. That might be the way to go.

You just say what the item is and what you know is in it, and there you have it.

Either that, or check a bookstore or library.

Sorry. Googling "Belgian pie"+peach+butter doesn't come up with much.
