So, I work out of an old Victorian house, which houses a bunch of attorneys who rent rooms from the main attorney and we all share the bathroom, kitchen, etc. One of the newer attorneys (male) is a social retard - he acts as if everyone else is invisible, never has any sort of interaction and basically annoys everyone - especially since he asked for SNACKS to be included in his rent.

Last night at 4:45, with an office full of people, one of the other attorneys decides to go wash his hands and heads down to the bathroom. The door is a 1/3 of the way open, the lights are on and Mr. Social Retard is sitting on the toilet taking a dump. Everyone exits the building at the door located next to this bathroom, as well as get their last bathroom run in before heading home on their commute, so it was very likely that someone was going to walk in on this guy. He casually looked up at the attorney (male) and said, "oh, I didn't think anyone was around!" WTF?

What are your thoughts? Forgetful in both shutting and locking the door or is this wanting to have someone walk in on him??

Snacks.

Some people are just oblivious.

At 4:45 though? Sounds suspect to me.

I can understand if it was like 7:30 and people usually left the house around 5:30 -6:00 (still weird not to close the door while dumping out). But before most people's days are over? Thats not right.

that's the second instance this week I've heard of a new lawyer being a complete retard!

maybe they're aliens? that's the only explanation.

this lawyer at my friend's work was trying to get her to sign some document and she was like, "uh, you realize I'm not a notary?" and he was like, "uhh, ohh, yeah, shit...uhh" and then tried to ask another person who wasn't a notary to sign the same document. he's also engaged, and was overheard on the phone trying to book a church for a wedding ceremony...for the following weekend. and kept complaining about how they were all booked up and it's sooo hard to plan a wedding. dumb ass weirdo.

ALIENS!

according to the other co-workers in the office (including attorneys), patent attorneys are the weirdest of the weirdo attorneys...

i'm still dumbfounded at this event.

another story about the guy is that he leaves the seat up and dribbles on the floor in front of the toilet. the office admin. have taped a sign to the toilet saying "please put the lid down and clean up your dribble." when i went in there prior to the 4:45 incident, the seat was up with several pee pee spots on the floor. some people!!!

Snark.

when i pee in an attorneys office i stand at the door and aim for the toilet, so that explains the dribbles

maybe you just need to get this guy some crackers!

Calvin's dad from Calvin and Hobbes was a patent attorney.

Also, I didn't realize you could request things to be added to rent! I'm going to see what I can get away with. Pet food, supply of bubblewrap, glitter (by the oz), astroturf replacements...

Can you carpet an apartment in astroturf?
