Hey kiddos- glad to see so many familiar names. Kll, so sorry to read that you're dealing with a lawyer with dribbling & pooping issues. LOL, the housing market will recover in 2012-13.

Bob- for your 21st, i sent lil bitty bottles of liquor. Sarky, i saw your foto and was momentarily confuzzed, 'cept that you haven't changed a bit.

I felt like such a sap seeing names of people that i even had little or NO interaction with, and getting sentimental. Ex: G-mile-he was coming as i was going.

Lopp- actually Dallas has MUCH to offer. austin is evil in its propaganda that NO other place on earth is as cool (not that dallas is anywhere as cool, but austin is nowhere as cool as it thinks it is. makes any sense?) the key to dallas is knowing/meeting someone who hooks you up with the right music/bars/restaurants/etc/ for your tastes. The whole time i lived there, i had some great friends, but never with insane MUSIC or movie taste like i have. Good restaurants, yes.

PLUS, today,

i was proved wrong-- things aren't the same: i had to pull out a gray hair.:eek:

i'm not the oldest person here, but i'm definitely near the top end. i've just been spoiled by good luck and good hair dye over the years. i've counted 4? gray hairs that i've FOUND(there MUST be more!) and i'm a helluva lot closer to 40 than 30.

but anyone else? gray, lots, little, none? Yauch, we love it when you chime in, but ... i think we all know the answer there.

and dammit, why wasn't there a GODDAMN PARADE thrown in honor of my return? at least one that made it around the block from one bar to another.
