Means Hellboy 3 is put on hold, I guess. I know Hellboy 2 hasn't come out yet but I'd rather see it than the Hobbit.

Nice, I'm actually a little excited about this. I always liked the Hobbit more than the actual ring trilogy. And I don't really get the fuss over Peter Jackson. Sure, the first installment was good enough to get excited about, but the last two movies....man, I don't know. So tedious. I consider watching those movies akin to actually working.

But yeah, the Hobbit! del Toro! Ian McKellen! No Elijah Wood!

He was around 50 years old on The Hobbit and 111 when he leaves The Shire on LOTR. Obviously Ian Holm can't play Bilbo again.
