City Buses / Car Thief

I can't believe that I'm about to open myself up to the comments this post may bring me BUT.... I was walking around Brooklyn the other day, and every time a city bus would pass and change gears I would hear the start of Car Thief. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm wondering if I've made a brilliant discovery or if it's simply time for me to cut back on my Beastie in take....

I think most of the Brooklyn city busses have been equipped with a digital audio/gear box that signals the beginning of Car Thief when they in fact switch from 2nd to 3rd gear. It's designed to reduce noise pollution quite a bit. I can pull the exact data if you'd like.

The 1st to 2nd gear shift signals a Kool & the Gang song but I can't remember which one...
