I'm klepto!

This is the only version of Wonderwall by the Boys that I've heard.
1:45 and the song is only for the last 35 seconds. So not the full thing obviously.

The 1:45min version is the same one I have. The MP3's ID3 tag says:

"Live cover of the Oasis 'classic' recorded in Belgium"
"Re encoded by Blighty"

A quick Beastiemania search for Belgium (http://www.beastiemania.com/gigog/index.php?country=belgium), yielded this result (http://www.beastiemania.com/gigog/show.php?g=19990501)...

Date: 1 May 1999
Country: Belgium
City: Brussels
Venue: Forest National

Song #23 Wonderwall

Find someone with that show, and you've got your track!

Ain't the internet cool. (y)(y) to Beastiemania!!

Although, the tour poster shown on the page, clearly says, Beastie Boys? SOOoooo!??

Old thread about this (http://www.beastieboys.com/bbs/archive/index.php/t-62036.html), with a dead Youtube link

Other artists who have covered the song include American indie singer Cat Power, Richard Cheese, Great Big Sea, Paul Anka's swing-jazz style arrangement, the Beastie Boys punk rock cover that has been performed at concerts, but never released as a single, and a cover on the compilation Punk Goes 90's by the pop-punk band Cartel.

I think I have a video of it somewhere. Lemme do some diggin'

Edit: I found it! I have Quasar performing Wonderwall in Japan on a pretty poor quality VCD. Can anyone give me a 1st grader's step-by-step instructions on uploading it to youtube?

You have to register for an account (don't worry, it's free!). Then you'll see where it says Upload. Then follow the instructions.

Sorry, I'm pretty lazy right now.

it used to be on youtube, and that was ME who posted it on that oasis fan forum haha, i got much pleasure from seeing my fellow-oasis superfans slagging the performance...at first i hated it but then saw the comedy in the whole thing, how something that bad can be so good in a humerous sort of way

Can you repost it since I'm technically challenged and can't figure out how to get a VCD uploaded to youtube?

Thanks!

Basically you have to convert the "structure" of your VCD into a file like .avi, .mpg or whatever, so you can upload it onto youtube. There are plenty of programs and sites on the internet where this process is described very carefully and with many details. Open Google and just type something like "VCD TO AVI" or "VCD Converting" - you'll find something in a couple of minutes.

I personally recommend a program called "ConvertMovie".
