I think it will do better than Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk .... but, not Indiana Jones....the teaser made me feel like a kid in a candy store but....given Speilbrug's track record, there is a slight chance that awesomeness won't be in full circle. Of course, you can argue the same for the TDK but....I can't help but get this gut instinct that its truely going to be awesome in mythical perportions.

And if it does, I will then jokingly refer Christopher Nolan as King of Sequels.

It looks good.

You know how the price of a painting escalates when the artist dies?
I am sure the film will draw even more people since Heath Ledger's death.

The opening weekend will earn $150 to $200 million.

yeah. it's same reason why the fearless vampire killers rocketed
straight into the record books following sharon tate's murder.

I'm not normally one for superhero films (I've decided that I hate all the Spiderman movies I've seen), but the last Batman was the shit, and this one will be too, probably. You people who casually brush this film and the last Batman film off because they're superhero movies are stupid, because you're missing out on some quality cinema.

Edit: though I do feel it may not be as good as Batman Begins, because that usually seems to be the way it works out. Batman Begins kind of blindsided us and rejuvenated the Batman franchise (as well as giving me a reason to give a shit about superhero movies). We weren't expecting that movie to be so good, and this time, we're expecting it.

It'll be better, afronaut. The Nolan brothers did the script themselves this time, relieving David Goyer. This is going to be the one.

I, also, have a feeling this one will be better. Between Ledger's performance and the addition of Maggie Gyllenhal its definitely on its way.

The back end of Begins is what hurt. It felt like two different movies -- the latter, a by-the-numbers superhero riff -- were grafted together. It was
still good, but it wasn't great.

I'm fascinated by the epic rivalry between Batman and The Joker because he is, after all, Batman's arch nemesis. If you've ever seen the cartoon television series, Batman Beyond, before-- they made a Batman Beyond animated movie called The Return of the Joker, and this was far in the future, when Bruce Wayne is an old man, and Terry (forgot his last name) became the new Batman. Well, Joker returns in the movie, and while I won't spoil anything in case anyone wants to see it, the finale has interesting dialog between Terry and Joker.

The new trailer is fantastic...this should be great.

Iron Man was good. The Incredible Hulk looks pretty good, but who knows. The trailer for HellBoy 2 didn't really do anything for me, but I enjoyed the original. And then there's a little thing called Indiana Jones....
