nothing is as annoying as this beat (http://65.171.60.23/dl/b34627a0ddf561f609a0b726245b6c23/48203a30/audio/beatofdeath.mp3) though! i seriously can't believe that people are STILL listening to dance music with that same old boring fucking beat!

I used to be into those bands circa 2000. By and large, they were pretty mediocre. Mighty Mighty Bosstones is wicked tho.

But you definitely can't mess with 2nd wave ska bands (i.e. The Specials, The (English) Beat, Madness) that coincided with the late-70s punk boom.

why does it exist?

Hopefully, just to piss you off.

If you want to hear Justice played at a club, try new places. It's not really that underground, y'know.

Pretty Funny: I put a picture to that statement then saying it gave birth to Emo
Poison Pill. They both suck. My Quote was that the wheels came off music once Michael McDonald left the Doobie Brothers and that set the head on collision of shit music that has proceeded since.

But seriously: it's Phil Collins Fault

Capdown and [spunge] are two great ska bands. I prefer hardcore punk though (y)

I would also like to point out that Justice kind of blows.

I wonder that as well, as Justice are pretty huge and raking in buckets of cash.

Anyhoo, I don't mind ska. I'm not a fan of it, but when a song comes on It's fine. Sometimes it's good for summery moods. But you do have to keep it to a minimum otherwise it does get annoying and everything starts sounding the same.

And I've seen Reel Big Fish play live and I thought it was awesome. I was also 15, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Well, unless you're caught in a time warp and think it's 1997, I'd say it's pretty dead already and will stay that way for quite some time to come.
