do any of you use private torrent sites?

i use one for UK tv shows and now i cant imagine life without it. they're so much faster and great for obsecure stuff. plus nice to check out alot of the new shows.

any of you guys use any decent ones? got any recommendations for movies or american tv shows?

most of them are invite only, i have about a dozen invites available so if you wanna switch invites or just want one let me know

ive tried like 5 different ones and none of them work. yeah my mac is probably fuct now, but i dont want to pay $1000 and i have shit to edit!

i dont know much about torrents. i downloaded a program thats a green icon on my desktop called "BitTorrent.app"... i found this (http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3770537/iMovie_08_G4-hacked) , downloaded it and opened it with the green icon program. its now at 90%. (im trying to download iMovie). i did this with Final Cut and another version of iMovie and they did not work.

i dont know anything about the seeding and all of that. i probably wont use the torrent after i get these programs, but maybe i will if im actually successful... i got my eye on some photoshop cs4 action.

I don't use torrents anymore. I fell out with them as they are slow and unreliable.

I use rapidshare more.. I pay for a premium account (about 15 euros every 3 months) and get most of my stuff from warez-bb.org (which I love cus there is NO PORN on it - too many are far too spammy with adult material). You have to register there but its safe and rapidshare is so worth the money imho.

torrents are having a bit of a bad rep atm.

I think a lot are silent on it because you never know who is watching or want to guilty themselves. But as with piratebay - 80% of their stuff wasn't copyrighted. Plus it opens the thread to those who think you are the devil and taking the money away from the artists. But that is a whole other debate ;-)
