Me: "Yes... chomp chomp chomp... no problem... chomp chomp chomp... I'll send a proof over... chomp chomp chomp... right away"

Client: "Excuse me... are you... eating your lunch? :/"

people who chew with their mouths open are disgusting.
i've heard people chewing so loud you have to ask yourself what fucking planet they're from where thats ok.

however, food tasted better when you chew with your mouth open. something about the air mixing with the food.

As a teenager, my best friend did that. I finally asked him about it and he said he didn't do it in front of girls. But he cooled it around me,
which was decent of him.

well thats nice of him. i had a boss who chewed like that, it was repulsive. i once started to say something but he answered like "what the fuck are you talking about"ishly so i was just like "nothing, how's the humus"?

-- because, hanging in a wad off your tongue, there, it looks great!

Pancakes were probably the worst. Or at least, what I remember most vividly.

this dude also licked his fingers loudly when he was done eating his hummus. ** smack behind the head **

yeah pancakes, and goppy syrup seems like they could be some real lip smacking, finger licking goodness for slobs like that

You can only really pull off the finger licking things if you're from New Orleans.

This thread made me think of the Hardee's chili cheesesteak burger commercials. They mic the actors and have them chew the hamburgers. The crunching sound is nauseating and then they use their sleeve to wipe their mouth. Is this supposed to make me want to go to Hardees for a burger? The commercials are annoying and I turn the channel as soon as they come on the TV.

Just look and be disgusted.

i think that as long as you're conscious of the fact that eating makes noise that makes people uncomfortable you're probably doing ok

there are certain foods that you just can't eat without being annoying though, so never ever eat them in a quiet room that you share with a person because chances are that that person is secretly thinking about throwing something at you every time you do it. those foods include but are not limited to

apples
carrots
nuts

you could be fucking gandhi but if i'm sharing an office with you and you're eating an apple i'm probably thinking about you dying

I used to have a friend who ate really loudly. Her whole family ate like that, and she had 3 siblings. Dinner at their house was a marathon of torture. I loved hanging out there, because they had a huge yard and were really fun...but I purposely avoided eating there.

finger licking is probably the most disgusting thing ever. people's hands are filthy! and just gahhhh! the sound, the look of it, just pure unabashed gluttony.

I hate the sound of people eating ice cream too. and speak of the devil, my roommate is eating it right now. good thing it's not out of a ceramic bowl. SCRAPE SCRAPE SCRAPE.

I kinda want to scream right now, just thinking about it.

If so, sorry. The mind is the first thing to go.

Yeah -- my officemate eats pretzels sometimes. Not much you can do about masking that without a cone of silence.

im like that too

when im in a room of people and got to cough then i would rather die of suffocation than cough out loud, i aswell hate when others cough especially when you try to focus on something and the coughing goes on for like minutes and the person doesnt even try to shut it

in fact you shouldnt act like a human at all, when youre near me

I pretty much just want to be invisible. I don't want to be in anybody's way, cause anybody problems, or anything. Don't fuck with me,
I won't fuck with you, etc.

the black letters youre using are pretty attention whorish though

and btw the sound of people scratching their skin/hair makes me cringe as hell

good music is the only noise ill accept
