Yeah -- it's a choice you make.

Love is a very active thing in which you not only want the best for some person but will take steps when appropriate to nurture, in whatever way.

What a lot of people think of as "love" is just attraction on whatever level for whatever reason -- pure or impure or some combination.

I don't know that love is a choice. All three of my great loves (including my fiance) seemed to take me by surprise. I wasn't attracted to any of them at first and rebuffed advances. And will all three of them, one day it was like a lightening strike. All of a sudden I just felt HUGE attraction and I was in love.
