1984 is the other good one

II is passable, Women and Children First is awful, and I don't remember Fair Warning or Diver Down being very good.

Then, 1984 is their big blockbuster '80's album where they clearly wanted to make a big, hit record. It's got some charm to it, but that
first album is really the one.

i think rock critics who don't hate van halen tend to like fair warning, but yeah. personally i haven't heard it

Fair Warning is a must: Songs to Looks out for Sunday Afternoon in the Park, One Foot out the Door, Mean Streets, Dirty Movies, Unchained and the rest of the LP

Actually, A-Z from what I've read Fair Warning was their Hedenberg LP. I thought everyone hated it unless they were Die Hard VH Fan

And, IMHO, Women and Children 1st is Great.

Have you seen Juniors Grades?

I HATED 1984.

I don't know why anyone would check them out now, but they were a lot of fun back in the day.

Listen to Drop Dead Legs and House of Pain then talk to me

Dirty Movies is collectively the bands best song IMHO
