oh my own thread! i have been waiting my whole life for this!
osama bin laden is my hero. is that what you wanted to hear bob?
and you can ask me if you want to know how i feel, instead of saying "i would like to know alien's beliefs".
osama bin laden is a dickhead. just like anyone else who tries to justify the murder of innocent people. we should round up all the terrorist, politicians and media and throw them in a room together and let them either kill eachother, or become best friends.

i was just curious how far gone you were, that's all. at least you're not to the level of "america hates him so he must be good" yet, that's refreshing at least

I guess cognitive dissidence and critical thinking are a stigma now?

seriously.
at least i got my own thread though:)
these boards are silly. i sometimes wonder why i even bother posting at all. but its therapeutic for me. it teaches me to talk calmly with people about things that i find truthful, that i used to find frustrating to deal with.
its kind of hard coming to the realization that the government is evil, and then having to live within it! so i appreciate such "defenders of the quo", even if i am wrong....even if the government didnt have prior knowledge of ANYTHING on september 11th, even if the iraq war, and almost every other conflict the US has ever been involved in was actually legit, even if things are as simple and trasparent as some on here believe....even if i am wrong, its good practice in relating. you get to deal with all kinds of assholes here, all kinds of heroes, all kinds of defenders and offenders, slanderers and nay sayers. it makes it interesting:P
so...BRING THE NOISE BYITCHES! lol

very few people here are "defenders of the quo". the majority of us do not believe that "the government didnt have prior knowledge of ANYTHING on september 11th, the iraq war, and almost every other conflict the US has ever been involved in was actually legit, that things are simple and transparent." the fact that you think we do (simply because we refuse to humor the very-tip-of-the-limb conspiracy theories you ask us to seriously consider and debate) is troubling.

Yeah, people grow up.
Thats a dumb thing to say.
There seems to be some ridiculous idea going around that liberalism and common sense, logic, and rationality cannot coexist. Just because we can use logic and be rational and distinguish the kooks from the people who know what they're talking about does not mean we're not liberal.
In the minds of many, conservatives hold a monopoly on common sense. But if you actually look further than Republicans and Democrats, conservatives have as many kooks as us liberals do. From voodoo economics, to the religious right, to free-market anarchism, conservatives have their fair share of "growing up" to do as well.

I dunno. I'm starting to believe there really is no sun.
Not for us, anyway.
The cool thing about being a conspiracy theorist is that nobody can prove you wrong.
And the tin foil hat. That's way cool.

i think he meant more like the "if you're not a liberal by the time you're 20 you have no heart, if you're not a conservative by the time you're 30 you have no brain" thing. but i know loads of 30+ year old liberals that are smart. but they're mostly academics; maybe they have too much brain

I think the BBMB's collective outlook on politics and the world has matured.
This place use to be overrun with wide-eyed undergrad photography types just a few years ago. Now, not so much.

yea,,,, i actually only recently came back to the boards and was very suprised to see the current conditions... but then again through 2004-06 everyone was simply anti-bush... in 2008 as we look forward, bush is gone and the democratic party is split (on this board as well as actuality).

you have to file your tax return to get a stimulus check, so I don't think they got one.
either because they're 15 and are fully supported by their parents or because a real tin foiler wouldn't file a tax return...
What's with the fukn screen? I have to scroll to the right all the time.

I'm good, I recently moved about a thousand miles across Canada and I'm working overtime almost every day. Doesn't leave a lot of time for posting, but I do lurk occasionally. Sad to see all this useless conspiracy garbage still cluttering up the board, but the Democratic race has certainly generated a lot of quality discussion. (y)

Sorry you have to work so much, hopefully your schooling is going well.
Where would we be without the conspiracy garbage to rile the board up?
