I can't seem to come up with a search for where I could buy reeds in the city. I keep getting online sales...but I need to get some today! at a real life store!
any band nerds in here who might be able to give me some key words?
so they sell that stuff at guitar center?

I found them at a place called The Music Store. no wonder I couldn't google it. it was a store front piled with junk and there was a dude playing drums in the front window. they had 2 reeds. I am pleased with my purchase. yay!
I'm gonna play a guitar solo on my clarinet for charity. it's gonna be so hot.

yes you do. you also have to, uh, lubricate (oo-er!) the corks too. for childhood cork grease i used cherry flavoured lip balm, ha! so it smelled very fruity indeed.
clarinets are not lame! : ( woody allen plays a mean clarinet. so, um, there.

they were 2 bucks each, cheap ass rico brand. I've still got a box of van dorens ($40/box), but they're too hard. I didn't realize that I was trying to play with too hard of reeds for about 4 years until senior year in college when this dude was trying to play my clarinet and was like, "dang your reeds are too hard". so I could have had a much easier time playing in high school if I didn't have such hard reeds. dumb! I blame my private lesson teacher.
blah, I played for 10 years, but haven't played in public for 11 years. I'm quite good, but I never really liked the sound of a clarinet or wanted to practice. boo hoo.

turn that clarinet into an alto sax and you could be a hip jazz cat!

$2! It's good to know that somethings haven't skyrocketed in price.
I wish I had played a brass instrument. My mom talked me into a clarinet because boys played brass instruments. At least it was better than the flute.
