My uncles ex-wife breast fed thier son til he was like 4 or 5 and that seemed excessive and creepy. we tried to get her to stop...but I think...she liked it. She was also just stupid. she thought he'd just loose interest on his own and stop, because she had had girls from her previous marriage and they pretty much weened themselves. We told her no. nope. well it depends a little on the person and how much milk they produce in the first place. they will produce less over time, but as long as the child keeps nursing the body will continue to make milk in response to that stimulus.
