Anyone have any Memorial Day plans?
I'm job hunting Saturday, but then the library is closed Sunday-Monday, thus forcing me to chill the fuck out.
You?
I find it fascinating that you don't use a home computer, yet post here so prolifically.
Um, if I do in fact get it off I'll be spending it making plans with my fiance in Lafayette.

I have a computer at home, but no internet connection. I don't want to pay for cable etc. etc. etc.
And I post a lot from here because there's so little work for me to do, which is why my job is being eliminated.

BBQ on the north side on saturday
work on sunday
BBQ on the south side on monday
the weather's supposed to be grand, so I'm looking forward to spending time outside. I'm hoping that my ex will not be at the north side bbq, as I've managed to successfully avoid him for 3 weeks now. but it's at his old house, so it's highly likely he'll be there. and highly likely that I will punch him in the balls.

not planning it...but
Friday = birthday, so off work early and out to dinner with family and friends...and maybe go see indiana jones...or that could wait to til Sat afternoon.
Sat = no plans
Sun= hopefully my friend is coming up from the city and we are going to hang out with fab gay boys and girls at: The Triple R (http://www.russianriverresort.com/)
it's pretty fun cause there is a pool and they pour heavy drinks. Hopefully I get drunk and the weather is good.
Mon= catch up on house work and do as little else as possible.

we had our long weekend this past one.
friday: I went to an "ice cream social" 50s themed dance. and had a rumNcoke float YUM!
saturday-monday: went out to my friends cabin for the weekend.
got shitfaced both nights, except saturday was the best because I was rocking neon fleece and did jagerbombs off the back of an ATV by the lake. got fibreglass splinters from rowing in an old ass boat.
and monday it was rainy so we painted and did arts alllllllllll day and I made an amazing acrylic masterpiece.

nothing compares to canadian long weekends. actuall,y alot of provincial campgrounds here in BC have banned any groups of people under 30 on the may long weekend because its always such a gongshow everywhere.
but its near perfection drinking by a campfire lakeside while your friends plays guitar and you are holding a drink in one hand and petting a doggies head with the other.
saturday afternoon I laid on a warf and suntanned while being entertained by the early 20s hooligans at a nearby dock who were holding people by their arms and legs while they did absinthe shots and then threw them into the lake.
ok ill stop rambling now.

Sasquatch festival. I'm going for three days which is one day longer than I have ever gone. I can usually last without washing my hair but its gonna be hella greazy if I don't wash it this time.
apropos of nothing
I took today off so I have a 4 day weekend.
Today---hanging out with my son (he is napping at the moment)
Saturday---Tennis team's playoff semi-final tournament & our swimming pool opens for the year.....do some flips off the diving board & swim. Evening cookout with family and friends.
Sunday---Install a new ceiling fan on our sun porch and look for a new indoor/outdoor rug. Drive 2 hours north to my family cabin at the base of the mountains near West Va.
Monday---Fish, hike and listen to the mountain stream. Drive back home and back to the grind on Tuesday.

I get my first day off since... April 4th. I think I just may clean my apartment.
But, I need to hit up the library after work tomorrow so I can scoop up a book or two (or three or four) to read next week. Maybe I'll read some on Monday too.
Ah, excitement!
