so my job decides to change my pay schedule from NY to NJ. I get an email that really had no info whatsoever.
Come to find out, the NJ pay period is next week and I was expecting a paycheck this week, the NY pay schedule.
So, I got paid two weeks ago and being that they changed my pay schedule, I have to wait an additional week to get paid.
I got hired in NY, still live in NY but I work in NJ and it's been like this for almost two years. Of course, all of my monthly bills are taken out automatically from my account and now I have to cancel that. The only two options that I have to pay bills on time are either paying them by using my wife's savings or, I dip into my IRA account.
I call my payroll department to see if they can at least cut me a check for a week and I get a run around.
Also, I have nice plans with the Mrs for memorial day weekend but now, it's on her. She understands the situation but, I don't feel right about it.
What can I do though. Sorry guys, just blowin off steam.
