yeah...how do I dos it?
what's a good program I can use?
any free programs I can download/use online?
Photoshop? Trial version of Photoshop?
You had the boss that didn't like buying software, right?
Pretty much everyone in the industry (as far as I know) either uses Photoshop of Flash to make their banner ads. You could use a different program, but I can't think of any off the top of my head that are both free and good - but then again whenever I didn't have a licensed Photoshop I was using a pirated version.

oooooh thanks for the input!
I made a makeshift one at some sort of free banner.com type thing. it will do for the moment...but it sucks just a little cause you can't manipulate the code to get rid of the sites own advertisement on your banner.(n)
So i am looking to redo it.
