i just tried to do an advanced search, typed in the word then clicked on search and it took me to a blank screen.
can you fix it, please?

that ^ was on firefox
when i tried it on IE i got this:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

yeah, that's happened to me too, sometimes. :/
haven't noticed that before! anyway, after some investigation it's definitely a server issue, as in it's got nothing to do with your connection, and it seems to be dependent on what type of search you perform.
when you've gotten these blank pages/error pages, what kind of searches have you performed? ie. keyword, forums etc?
by the first look of it, it happens when you make a broad search on a very common word, that's currently not in the blacklisted common word list. (ie, you can't search for words like "okay").

i searched on the word "happy" in bf
thanks. it seems to be more random than what i first thought. we'll look into it and try and get it fixed.

Probably because the word "happy" is used too many times on the forum but isn't black listed as a "common word". If that's the case there's probably a patch we can install to fix it. We'll look into it.
