View Full Version : Is ingesting wet paint worse than eating paint chips?

I was painting my nails and I accidentally smudged a nail right after painting it.
see if the nail polish is at the right dryness (not wet, but just semi-set so its still malleable) you can fix minor smudging by using your wet tongue to kinda smooth over the area so that the painted nail surface is once again smooth.

anyways, I immediately did this once I saw the damage and the nail was totally NOT dry enough and I ended up licking up some of the polish. I wiped it off with a tissue and drank waters but I can still taste the slightly minty grossness of nail polish in my mouf.

not to self, do not paint nails when blood sugar levels are low. :(

Yikes, I think house based paints would do more of a number on you. It sounds like you didn't ingest very much though.

Note: red "very cherry" polish doesn't taste like cherries. :(

once my mom sent me hersheys lip gloss, it was shiny and smelled chocolaty. I thought it was candy. I tried to eat it a little bit, then I read the fine print that said, "do not eat". :(
