He was in 3 classic Mel Brooks comedies. Blazing Saddles, High Anxiety and History of the World, Part 1. He was 81.

i was so sad to hear this. i've always been a big carol burnette fan and he was so funny on her show.

I thought about him just recently and wondered who'd go first him or Tim Conway...:(...I remember being like 5 and watching the Carol Burnett show with my grandpa,hilarious...a much more interesting funeral than Sydny pollack I'll bet...(y)

Aww, he was a funny man. I always loved The Carol Burnett Show, what a great troupe they had there.
