I guess I could understand that. I mean, people move on - save a few things for sentimental value, but there's really no sense in saving every little thing.

The Cobain kicks thing makes sense I guess, I mean they made a line of Sex Pistols ones not too long ago didn't they? It's sort of ironic that people who claimed to be fashion outsiders now have a brand. I suppose that just goes along with the conclusion they came to in "SLC Punk."

Punk, like grunge is an ideology and an aesthetic; but at it's very heart, just like most things, it's just a fashion statement.
