I've been feeling broke this year, It seems like the Deniro is not stretching as far as it did last year, I figured I'd put up a poll and see if it's just me or what. I'm actually making about 30% more cash per paycheck this year but everything is starting to cost more, fucking Bush....
I was going to post this in the political section but feeling poor is a universal sort of thing....
This story on Ed McMahon (http://www.efluxmedia.com/news_Ed_McMahon_Faces_Foreclosure_On_His_Beverly_H ills_Home_18551.html) got me to thinking we're all getting broke,,,check out the amount of foreclosures at the end of the story.

I have more money going out monthly for bills than I did last year, but I'm making a bit more. it's kind of evening out, but sometimes I just can't seem to get my head above water. not living pay check to pay check like I did say 3 years ago though.
once I get my economic stimulus check, I'll feel better. sometimes it just feels like no matter what, I just don't have enough money though. :(
I need to start my art business and work on a graphic novel I have an idea for, but I'm lazy. so far those are the only things that seem fun and would make me money. you know, if I'm as good as I think I am. :/

last month my mum had to pay 300 euro because of some e-virus so all we had to eat was noodles and bread
being back on normal food makes me feel like a millionaire

I'm working more and earning more, but I also have to pay more, which causes me to be very broke at the end of the month. I don't even buy that much stuff, it's just that I travel about a lot, and traintickets are massively expensive. I have to pay over a hundred euros a month just for getting to work. Because I moved further away, they won't pay for the extra costs.:(

i am going to spend a pretty hefty chunk of my savings tomorrow.
so then i will feel a bit broke. but at least i'm not spending all of that on a credit card. at least i worked hard for a long time and got some savings. so, eh.
i can't take money with me when i die. i try not to stress about it that much. bad times will get easier, easy times will get harder. ebbs and flows man ebbs and flooowwwws. save when you can, cut back when you have to.
I usually have my wallet in my pants when i hit the ground so the answer is no.
lol
i'm living on student loans right now basically, so it's kind of weird. i have a pretty decent amount of money in my bank account, but the catch is i have no income, i only get disbursements every three months or so, so it's kind of hard to budget. if i got a paycheck i could break down how much i make in a month and how much i spend and i'd be alright, but with the loans it's more like, i have a lump of money in my bank account that's substantial, but when it's gone it's gone, so i have to be careful. i'm just having a hard time feeling out exactly how careful i have to be.
so to answer your question, i don't feel broke, but i act like i am, because i probably am (besides, when school's over i have to pay all this shit back so it isn't even my money really)

After buying copious amounts of weed for my friends and I, yes, I feel broke. I got a job at sears which pays me peanuts.

Right now I'm making more money than I ever have in my life, while my expenditures have been cut in half from where they were a couple months ago, and I feel more broke and worthless than ever.

making more, combined, than we've ever made before. my husband is so good with money that he's pretty much eliminated our credit card debt. now we just need to pay the house, equity line and the car and we're FREEEEEE!

To Me Going Broke Means Making Less than I was Last Year
And to that I'll Say Hell Ya
When you have $ and see it circling the drain that's almost as distressing as not having any to start with
One must be a fox in order to recognize traps, and a lion to frighten off wolves
So Yes, I "fell" broke...Not breadline broke but I feel it
