On Radio 4 last night, they were interviewing people on Grafton Street about this, and seriously, they seemed to be a magnet for the least clued up people on earth and the most completely over the top Irish 'Jaysus, Mary and Joseph I have no clue about tis, get away with ya' etc etc
I think it will be very very close. And I have an inkling it might be the nay.

Yeah, it will be close.
And, yes, haha...they do tend to ask the most clueless people - gives them a better soundbite I guess.

What's this all about? I aint got a fucking clue about politics and Question Time is the most boring shit on TV.All those MP's getting asked questions by people who look like they have never had sex or ever been to a pub.
i saw a headline about it in the paper, it said "fate of europe hangs with ireland" or something but when i started to read the article and found out it wasn't about america i kind of zoned out, what's up with this?

There's a treaty to reform how the European Union works. All other 26 countries passed it through parliament, but Ireland constitutionally needs a referendum. The No's say we will lose power, and its step towards a federalized super-state etc. The Yes's say it makes necessary reforms to make the EU more efficient.
It was known as the EU Constitution, and the French and Dutch public rejected it 3 years ago. So they took out references to flags, and anthems and then didnt bother to let the public vote again. Hooray!
