Burlesque club

As part of my friends' hen weekend we went to a club in Bristol doin a burlesque night-everybody dressed up(any excuse) but when the shows were on i just couldn't get into it. i love the whole style thing and the fact burlesque totally embraces women who look like women and not lollipops, and how the shows aren't really in-your-face almost porn type of thing but when it came to it i couldn't find it all that great coz i really have no interest in looking at anyones tits! i think it would be good to see a bigger show with more emphasis on the whole performance but this was a small club with tiny stages and no budget so there wasn't chance for more of a show before the girls got their baps out really. anyone seen Dita or any of the bigger shows?

I've never been to see one but if there was a woman swinging her knockers about with little tassles on her nipples I'd have trouble looking at anything else (y)

yeah a couple of em could do that swingy thing but didn't notice any going in different directions! but i wasn't looking too close really

aw why not? Burlesque is porn dressed up in art, it's almost seen as uncultured to not want to see it!

i was watching the shows but i meant i wasn't looking too closely at the wabs! there were some quite pretty nipple-cover-up things (pasties)

yeah i guess they were! still love the rest of it and one girl had one of my fave tracks as her backing music-i don't know what it's called but it was in Twin Peaks (!) and it's kind of bassy,grindy and dirty-will have to look into it...would happily live in the clothes tho-love the whole look-that and rockabilly

I would absolutely LOVE to see Dita.

I've only seen a show in Vegas at Tangerine. It was just "okay," and the standards in Vegas = the girls were way too thin for burlesque. So boo to that.
