Quick movie question

I've been trying to figure this out for awhile, and no one has any idea what I'm talking about. Even with my awesome Googling skills I can't find anything, so I pose this question to you...

I'm looking for a movie. I don't remember any specifics, but it involves a teenage boy and was made in the 80s. At the end of the movie, there's a German Shepherd holding a severed foot in its mouth. Any ideas?

I believe it's supposed to be a bit creepy but not straight up terrifying horror movie, if that makes any sense. I could be wrong though.

so, i got my years totally wrong, but the movie was brain scan. also, the dog i don't think was at the END of the movie, but im not sure now. anyways, one of my coworkers is amazing and knew this. after knowing what movie it was, i found a total of one screenshot featuring the dog/foot.

anyway, i feel much better now knowing this.

I should really read these things before I reply, of course it was brainscan... I could of told you that in 10 seconds, plus in the German Shepard version of "Jaws" it was an arm and a hand, not a fucking foot. geeesh
