Hey Remixers and remixfans

It would be great if we could do another beastiemixes.com project together..

I was thinking we could again hook up with another DJ to do a collab mixtape once more..My suggestion:

Mash up HipHop's oldskool heroes with the BeastieBoys together with a fellow DJ.

For instance: A mash featuring Binary Star (one of my favs) together with Slick Rick and the Beasties or something like that..

nobody contributed to the first collab one. and i dont see why we'd need two djs to do a mash up.

You mean the 1-year celebration mixtape? There were 5 or 6 entries, thats not bad..Its just that people usually only contribute when there's something to gain..

beastie boy cover remix (dont jsut cover the song, remix the cover). yeah i said it, or how bout a chorus only remix? you were only allowed to use the chorus, it'd be interesting. hmmm.

As usual... I'm in!! Great ideas, Nygel. I was thinking of using samples of Silence 7 on his podcast :pLet's get this thing going!!

That sounds interesting..It would take great skill to create a song using samples from the podcast, but it'd also be a great challenge..I'm in!
