I give u the comments from the blog as well cause I've been trying to figure out exactly what Nas is saying....

I think one of his main points is that its just a word....
also perhaps hes saying why would you like to be one of these people who perpetuates this stereotype of everything that a "Nig*er" is?....

One of my friends said he's saying that all black people are just Nig*ers to whites.... I dont really see that at all...

Throughout their whole little beef the realist shit Jay Z ever said bout Nas was the whole "One hot album every 10 year average"....Every now and then Nas is amazing and puts out something that I love but more often than not he's just "meh" which pretty much sums up this song

I guess the average beastie fan just doesn't know the first thing about how to deconstruct a rap song. Probably because the boys are pretty simple when it comes to their lyrics. Guess this was the wrong place to turn for discussion.

Its also used as a way of addressing a person or group of people, especially when they are black. Example; "At the club last night this nigga spilled his drink on my shirt, so I was about to approach him, but then I noticed all his niggas were with him, so I didn't say shit."

I will say that there are plenty of racist black people (just as there are plenty of racist whites, Hispanics, Chinese, etc.). My problem is that in your first post you say "I like how blacks take..." This sounds like you are addressing the majority or entirety of the race, while you are basing this opinion only on blacks in your age range who you encounter.

And the next time you want to be taken seriously on this message board, you may want to leave out extra words like "assjockey."
