we've already established that i was there. The documentary was outstanding with a great soundtrack. The way MCA directed the movie made the sport and the players interesting. The movie enlightened me on something i didn't really know.

Thanks for replying, yellow; and it's cool to know that the movie appealed and educated.
Guess I'm fishing for what 'the being there' was like. Was the theatre filled? Did the Q & A have substance, and most of all - how did you get your art into his hands? During or after? Any details you'd care to share, I'd gladly read.
congrats again on getting your gift across!

The theater was filled up. The audience asked questions about how mca got involved with the documentary; how did they choose the players; camara angles; is there a soundtrack and if he specifically asked the players to do something like a slam dunk.
I wrapped up the art (there were 4 pieces of art) and had it in a nice bag. I went up to mca during the movie credits and quietly handed him the bag while i told him my name and that i had some art work for the beastie boys

I highly recommend that everyone should see "Gunnin for the #1 spot." MCA did an outstanding job!

I wish I could show you. U seem close to the band; ask them if u could have a peak.
Yeah I was speaking to Yauch last night at his over a pizza and some beers, he let me listen to a few demos for the new album and invited me to lay a few new bass lines down for him to sample. We got speaking about the paintings and he said he had them in his room but he wouldn't let me see them. He's really precious over them for some reason.
