It's black and slightly feminine so I couldn't name it Ving Rhames or something manly like that.

My first car was named "Primetime" because my best friend and I spend most of our Jr year sanding and priming the body to paint it...then the engine exploded. My second car was called "Tank" beacuse it was an old as 79' Cutlass with zero suspension. Next came "Burrito" my Beretta, then "Sunny" the Sunfire, followed by "Big Blue" my first BMW, then "Carl" my second one. Most recently I just call my Jeep "the Jeep"...maybe I should name it

I used to drive a plymouth colt. we called it "the colt". I miss that car.

after that I had a shitty ford taurus, I called it, "shitty taurus". no I didn't! I didn't call it anything because I hated it.

I was told awhile back that I'm supposed to name my bicycle, and I thought of something really funny to call it, but I forgot what it was. OH MY GOD! it just came back to me! ha, weird. it was bologna pony. or some derivation thereof.

I guess I'm not in the habit of naming inanimate objects after all. I have a hundred different names for my cat though!

I've named all my vehicles. I usually mix in some spanish in the names.

Had a green Toyota Tacoma - Taco Verde
Blue Trailblazer - Cruise Azul
Black chevy truck - El Trucko Negro
But my favorite was a brown 1979 BMW 525e(great car) I had - The Infamous Brown Trout of Southern Bavaria - or just The Brown Trout

its a red toyota yaris hatchback

we were going by the rule that "whatever song is playing on the radio when you hit 1000 miles is what you name it". well the odometer hit 1000 with "fegalicious", but me actually driving the car 1000 miles it was "where the streets have no name".

she wouldnt buy it. i think i could have gotten away with calling it "the edge", but i wasn't down with that.

it's sort of fitting though, because about half the people i know think the car is cute, the other half think its goofy looking. and that's how i think fergie is looked at in general

My friend had a Ford Fiesta called Esther. Bit gay really...

Much to my other half's annoyance, yes.

My first car was a Ford Fiesta 950 and was a total rust bucket but i loved it so much. He was called 'Billy the Beige B reg'.

Next came 'Marvin' the Metro.

Then another Metro...but i didn't name him for some reason and he was nothing but trouble.

My Toyota Starlet was called 'Celeste'. She was the best car ever. I had her for 6 years and she never broke down once.

Then came 'Felix' the Fiesta who unfortunately bit the dust last year when a taxi hit him from behind.

My current car is a Citreon Picasso...called 'Pablo'. How original eh?

Neither did I. I thought you were making a joke, so I was going with it.

Anyway -- there was this major limp-wristed, swishy gay black man who was kind of the sidekick.

In my head my 90 metro hatchback was called oscar cause he was dark green and looked like he came out of a garbage can. I never told anyone though cause I felt stupid for it.

My blue 90 protege was just "the mazda"

My current red 98 ford escort 2dr is just "my car," probably because I haven't owned it in a situation where I had to differentiate between different cars as in "hey I'm going to take the metro to work today." Alternately it might be "my new car" even thought it's not (it's the newest, right?)

I loved my metro the most. I used to hate my escort, but it's gotten me out of some sticky situations as a delivery driver. It's crazy maneuverable.

there is a great story in me talk pretty one day by david sedaris where his (midget) guitar teacher asks him to name his guitar. he wanted to call his guitar oliver and learn the chords for the oscar mayer bologna jingle. the tutor says no, it should be a woman's name, so he names the guitar after his cousin. the midget asks "is she stacked?" and it occurs to david he'd never noticed anyone's breasts before, not unless they were large enough to be freakish. one boy's burgeoning homosexuality; highlighted after being forced to think about tits and names of broads by his guitar teacher. heh.

That's bizarre. I don't know how you could not notice people's physicality, regardless of preference. You must have some idea about
height, curves, bulges, etc.

1983 Chrysler Cordoba - "Beastie Pimpmobile" (I WAS 16, GIMME A BREAK)
1990 Chrysler Lebaron (convertible) - Simply "Beastiemobile" (I WAS 17, GIMME A BREAK)
2002 Mitsubishi Galant - "Smurfy" (I WAS 20, GIMME A BREAK)

The '83 was my parents' car they let me use, and the '90 was a car they got me (they told me they'd buy a car for me to use as long as it was around $2,000 and they could use it when they needed, which I thought was fair). Then finally I decided I wanted my own car I could call my own, so I decided to buy the '02 and I looove it. It's Smurfy because of the color, though it has a tinge of purplish in the color, so it's not as smurf-like as it could be. :(

1975 Chevy Malibu-Malibu Stacy or The Avocado due to the interior color

1981 Toyota Corolla-June, that's the month I got her in. Her paint turned to a powder and then a paste when it rained. This was in Washington State. It rained a lot. She was eventually passed on to my step sister when I got the Celebrity. She had about 240,000 miles and was stolen. For all I know she could still be out there somewhere.

1981 Chevy Celebrity-Marilyn. Met her demise at my hands. Sorry old girl. :(

1992 Ford Taurus-Debra. She literally went up in flames.

2001 Toyota Corolla-Lolla. She saved my life in a terrible crash.

2004 Toyota Solara-Sunny

2007 Toyota Camry-May, also named for the month I bought her.
