Yauch on radio in nyc

I heard Yauch getting interviewed on 101.9 RXP this morning. He talked about his movie and the new album Matt Pinfield asked some good questions. He said they had about 30 songs in various states of completion none of them really finished yet. And that they are working in the studio everyday now. He said they would go on tour after the album dropped. Cant really remember what else but that was the main thing they said about the album. He also said he was really into the first arctic monkeys cd.

Haven't they worked with close to 30 songs for at least the last 2 albums? I recall there being that much or thereabouts in mentions of both TT5B and TMU. I hope they have enough quality ones to make a big fat album.

That is, without a doubt, the key concern here! I do think they rushed out the last 2 releases(well maybe not TT5B but TMU a little) so hopefully there spending a bunch of time working up about twenty awesome tracks! (hope hope)
