do they make much of a difference in the long run? i started to take one with my daily medication each night and sometimes i feel they help, but other times i dont know.

so is it actually the vitamin doing something for me or what? i got the standard mens daily supplement, if that means anything.

and while we talk vitamins and such, is there anything that might be helpful other than this? i could use a little assistance with regards to my skin...

they help, but i'd say in a more subtle way. i take a daily for women (when i can remember). i don't think it's something you can necessarily feel more as it's something your body needs to actually feel normal. normal isn't going to actually feel like anything, i suppose.

skin... hmmmm. i'd check out your local helth store. people that work there are so knowledgeable about that sort of thing.

i take an extra B12 sublingual for memory and energy. i think i need it today as i was on my way to work and realized i was heading... somewhere else. not quite sure where but it was in the opposite direction of work and i got pretty far before i realized it.

i also take an extra calcium pill and magneseum.

I think both contain vitamin A and zinc, which are extremely helpful when it comes to acne control.

I dont notice if I miss a multivitamin one day by accident, but if I skip using this

I sure f'ing notice.
they also make an energy variety (with caffeine and taurine) and one that includes a multivitamin all in one dose. I always post products from this company like a whore, but its only because Ive tried them and actually seen the benefit.

I have multi vitamins and some for hair & nails but they both smell so I don't take them. I'm a good girl about a mix of foods so don't worry too much.

i've been meaning to set up an appointment with a dietitian, but the same reason i feel the need for the help is the same reason i never have time to go.

its mostly my feet that have the issues. i try putting various lotions/moisturizers with little sustained results, and my toe nails have a mind of their own. the doctor knows they arent so great, but he says they arent to the point of needing medication.

I don't take vitamins at all. I did take a 'vegetarian supplement' at one point but it didn't seem to make any difference so I stopped.

Plus they are always on the large side and with my total inability to take a pill without gagging it's a bit tricky.

My dad takes a cod liver oil/multivitamin every morning. It's almost as a big as my head*

*slight exaggeration

I say it depends on the brand of vitamins.
there's a difference between buffered and non-buffered vitaimns and if I remember correctly you want non-buffered because it allows you body to absorb more of the nutirents instead of pissing them out in your urine.

flinstones vitamins probably aren't going to do you much good...
but..Solgar (http://www.solgar.com/) is a very good brand.
