I just got my tats cause I liked the way they looked. One of them is my own artwork that I made up when I was 19 and I put it on my arm myself. It looked no better than a sheep's tattoo but I've had touchups done here and there.

My next tat will also be drawn by me and I'm thinking of some Cherokee indians wrapped around my arm doing a rain dance.

I've called almost every tattoo joint in town asking if theyd do my tattoo and so far I've heard everything from no fucking way, its too risky, and sure we'll do it.

that was absolutely the first thing I was going to tell you. Most shops keep a strict policy against face, neck and hands tats. it's kinda like you need to know a tattoo artist personally and have them do it somewhere other than the shop if you want it done.

everyone knows I'm a huge tattoo fan and I have quite a few...but I do think facial tattoos are a bad idea.

or a tattoo shop, or pumping gas...those are the three professions that won't have a problem with face tats.

unfortunately face tats have a high association in society with gangs and the criminal elements. While tattoos on other areas of the body have become more socially acceptable, face tats remain largely tabou. And for that reason you're going to make it alot harder to move within society. I know fuck society, but sometimes it's helpful to be able to blend in with the masses. Face tats...give the message "stay-away form me" if that's what you want, cool, but it ain't going to be easy to get rid of if you ever change your mind.

I love to let my freak flag fly, but I've made choices about my body art that allow me to pick and choose who gets to see it. it works for me. Outwardly I can look professional and that helps me get what I want from people. But I still have the freedom to express myself with ink...personally I find the duality of it all quite appealing.

yeah, I know. Im gonna write this little book and draw pictures and stuff sort of talking about all the people in my life and stuff. Drawing and art is one of my few natural "gifts" or whatever but I've kind of lost it along the way.

the problem with your plan is that you don't plan on living much longer... that's sort of like selling everything you own and going out into the wilderness to wait for the end of the world. After about three weeks you start to get pissed because...the end of the world hasn't come, and you haven't been eaten by a bear yet and you're hungry. it's just suffering.

if you want to torture yourself or better yet get someone else to do it for you, I would suggest maybe you get into some heavy S&M. at least that way you'll get laid a lot in the process. and after a while on drugs nobody wants to fuck you except maybe crack whores looking for a fix, and they're so damn skinny, that can't be any fun at all.

well I'm trying to say, that many people try to kill themselves with drugs and fail...they just suffer miserably. Meth and crack are horrible...bad itchy skin, loosing your teeth? ugh. Chasing the dragon? forget that too. You wanna spend the last years of your life chasing a high you'll never acheive again?

I'm saying have some pleasure with your pain. you don't have to die, or at least you don't have to try to die. you could have a really good time AND have and outlet for your emotional pain to come out.

i used to get the occasional tat magazine and there was always some crazy shit in those-toasters and beetroot. i knew someone who'd started out to get a pair of wings on his back but after the first couldn't face the pain of having the second one done!!

also,there's a woman lives in the town here who has crazy black rings tattooed around her eyes-it's not a great look and i'm sure she wonders what the fuck she was thinking!! i'd say it's not a good idea-i have one on my shoulder i'm waiting to get covered and that's bad enough!
