My parents used to prop me up on the coffee table when I was about 2 years old and strap some headphones on me. My favorite Hall and Oates song at the time was Maneater.

I think it's great that Hall goes YOU MAKE-A MY DREAMS COME TRUUUEEE! in You Make My Dreams. That's what makes it a Hall and Oates song. Method of Modern Love is pretty badass too. Of all the performers that carried the yacht rock burden, Hall and Oates did it in the most hardcore and edgy style. Phil Collins wishes he were Oates. With the mustache and all.

My mom got me listening to them and I was probably the only kid in Junior High who knew all the words to "Kiss on my List" which had I told anyone, would've probably not ended well.

i've always been a fan. i can't go for that (no can do), one on one, and say it isn't so are a few of my favorites.

caught them live in new york at the beacon just before christmas last year, guess they were promoting a xmas album they had out, so the 1st half of the show was all xmas music which was preety shitty, but for the second half they played hits, but surprisingly they didnt play Maneater even though were selling Maneater tshirts in the lobby.

personal favorites: Private Eyes, Out of Touch, Say It Isnt So, Im Sorry (1st song on their first album), Dreamtime (Darryl Hall solo joint),

and they have great music videos
