it actually had nothing to do with race. sohh was talking shit about 4chan, and if you talk shit about 4chan you should kind of expect this sort of thing to happen. that would have happened regardless of the content of that particular forum or the race of the majority of the users.

a large internet community originally started by members of SA, i believe when SA started to crack down on rules or something like that... not entirely sure. a lot of the boards are focused on japanese things like anime and cosplay, but there are a number of other boards as well. all posting is anonymous, as such no one has any reputation to maintain and there are little to no consequences for posting offensive material, so people often do it just to piss other people off. because all posts have the name anonymous at the top, 4chan and anonymous are somewhat interchangeable. there are also lots of other *chans, but its basically all the same shit. anonymous loves to destroy things, and if you piss them off they go out of their way to make your life miserable. anyone that provokes them is pretty much asking to have their site ddos'd, their myspace stolen, and to have lots and lots of pizza and boxes sent to their house.

every internet joke you have ever seen has started there. also, every picture of a cat you've ever seen on the internet started there.
