I met Adam Yauch at the 6/27/08 Gunnin' show in NYC!

I was lucky enough to have my picture taken with Adam Yauch after the Q and A session at the Loews Village East theater in NYC. I was at the 9:20 PM show. The Q and A session was great. Yauch answered each question thoroughly and was extremely nice when I met him for a few seconds afterwards.

Did anyone else go to the 9:20 show, or 7:00 show in NYC? Yauch did a Q and A at both shows.

what was your opinion of the film?

I liked it. The soundtrack was awesome and the movie looked great. It had some really cool looking shots, especially at the game at Rucker Park. It was cool learning about Rucker Park and the history behind it too. Also, the movie was fast-paced, so the 90 minutes just flew by, it didn't seem to slow or drag on at all. My favorite part though was learning what all that the kids have to deal with at such a young age (I won't say what specifically, b/c I don't want to give anything away if you haven't seen it).

Yeah, he's really down-to-earth. I got to talk to him at the GFT#1S after-party in Harlem. I was talking to one guy from Oscope, was about to leave and saw someone just leaving talking to him. When I introduced myself he said, "Hey, I'm Adam." I thought that was really humble. The conversation was warm and he's a good listener. The Oscopers are all "good people" as we'd say in the South.
