I can't show any pics right now, because I'm in the middle of moving and I don't have any furniture yet.
I can tell you that I've been painting my walls today and they are now bright purple. Everyone said it would be too dark, but it looks friggin' awesome.

We sure do. We have those floors through out our whole apartment with the exception of the bathroom. It's not hardwood, it's wood laminate. But close enough.

actually that is a street sign from home. it has that reflective crap on it that light up from the flash.


i have a bay window behind the blue drapes in the first pic. sadly the drapes stay closed most of the time since i am right at the street.

just as well for this thread, we are looking for a new flatmate atm, so i have been taking pictures of our flat over the past couple of days in preparation for putting an ad online. and failing.

i love interior design too but i still haven't quite got out of the student renting frame of my mind.. it's like i'm constantly preparing to move after 9 months. we also don't get a lot of opportunity to personalise the place, seeing as it really belongs to my flatmate's parents. but we do what we can.

this is outside the flat.. we are the second flat up with the plants that will fall on your head if you try to burgle us (not worth it, kids)

yes, the ceilings are quite high. you can see it better here (http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c361/nastee/4f7369b7.jpg). pretty much all tenement flats in glasgow have this sort of look/structure.

there's more rooms of course but i haven't cleaned my bedroom fuck a fucking age and what's to look at in a bathroom/utility room?

i did make a video of me running through the flat from one side to the other and of our (clean) dishes and many, many bottles of wine/beer to be recycled but haven't uploaded it yet.
