ugh. so, the dude I thought I saw on a date messaged me to see if I wanted to go out for dinner sometime this week. no mention of what happened last thursday (maybe he didn't see me after all, I did kind of run away and all, but he did see cort). he did say something about having a bunch of friends that came into town on thursday for the weekend.
son of a crap. it's a nice message. fuck. although he did write "you're" instead of "your" at one point, which made my eye bleed (just one).
fuckity fuck fuck fuck
meanwhile, my friend and I decided that I need to formulate a plan to get with this other guy I like. so far I want to say, "hey, you wanna hang out and get high sometime?" but she said that's too open and too stoner dudey, I need to have something concrete. but I don't know what. blahhhh.
anyway, from here on out, I will refer to the first guy as Shorts, and the second guy as Talls. because they both wear glasses, but one is taller than the other.
so please tell me what to do. thank you, I am tired of thinking.

that probably means you should stop thinking. Take it from me, I OVER THINK EVERYTHING. and it has to be the absolute worst thing that I do to myself on a regular basis. if you can shut off your brain, I would say do it.

okay, not thinking hasn't helped.
uff. I think that an extended flirtation with a person I may or may not seal the deal with for months is more appealing than dating a person for real.
but then I don't want to be a dope about it either.

maybe I can put up a poll with their photos and you guys can judge based on their looks.

Dorothy, I don't mean this in a bad way.....but you really need to get laid.

I think you should seriously take a break from dating...you're always posting about stress and drama with this guy or that guy and so far whatever you're doing or not doing doesn't seem to be getting you anywhere. So why not just take a break for a while and then ease back into the dating scene later?

I already got laid dude!
as far as not dating...I know! I didn't do it on purpose! I did at first because I was sad and like, "aww, this boy's cute and funny, let's give it a go", but then I was like, "ack! I'm not ready!" but then like, he keeps asking me out.
so, telling me I shouldn't date doesn't really help me. especially since Shorts is a perfectly decent fellow that I get along with really well.

^No your inability to be by yourself and not revolve your life and self worth around boys and dating is what is NOT helping you. At least that's my two cents

And you still stress? Well, just take it easy then. Enjoy the ride. You don't have to be in control of everytyhing in your life, at least not all the time. Day by day have some fun. It is summer after all. And summer in Chicago can get very interesting if you let it.

okay, I think you have me pegged wrong. if I was unable to be by myself, I'd be wanting to pursue a relationship with Shorts. right?
as it is, any sort of boy stuff is a diversion. and in truth, I am enjoying my alone time and am in no way ready to start having to sleep over or have someone sleep over with me on a regular basis. as it was stressful to me when I was in a relationship.
whatever, I'm just trying to get over someone I love very much and I thought it would help to casually date, but it turns out that doesn't work if the person seems to really like you. and concerning Talls, I've had a crush on him since I met him and wasn't something I sought out.
I may be interested in the male of the species to a silly degree, but it's fun for me, so shut up. as far as revolving my life around men, that's a pretty bold/rude assumption based on a smattering of message board posts. I have a pretty full life based around friends and activities and making art. so there.

Hmm, there's really a long time I don't come here. The last time I checked one of your posts, you were happily in love.:(

ok. Find a place that has Pac-Man.
Invite Shorts and Talls to a contest to see who can get highest score.
winner has to take you for dinner
loser has to drop his pants and run 100 yards down the street

blah, so I agreed to go out with shorts again.
my roommate said, "just play it like a dude would, go with both of them". so I am. and then we watched Scarface. BLAM!

You can't just turn up in these threads half arsed expecting to know what's going on, you seriously need to read the past installments.
That's what I have learned so far.
Wait wait wait wait.
Shorts and Talls?

It's an assumption based on your threads...I'm too lazy to do it and honestly don't care enough but I bet if you searched for all threads started by you, 90% of them are about some boy drama. I do realize that only a small portion of who a person really is shows up in their posts but to me you're that girl who is always posting bout boy drama on here. That's your thing I guess

actually, it's about 30% based on the last 25 threads I've started, and I rounded up.
it's fun for me, I said. I'd actually like to know more things about everyone's else business too, but usually people are so vague that I can't even tell what's happening. I'm just trying to create an anonymous, vague, but somewhat linear narrative about my life. for what purpose? I don't know. just trying to figure stuff out I guess.

ew, nobody wants that. threesomes are for attractive people, not hairy/balding nerds with glasses and a chubby lady with a farmer's tan.
