I was listining to this interview and it brought a question to mind. Anyone who read Rhyming & Stealing: A History of the Beastie Boys (http://www.amazon.com/Rhyming-Stealing-History-Beastie-Boys/dp/1897783140/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215077860&sr=8-18) by Angus Batey might know what im talking about. Angus Batey writes about how The beasties helped LL get is shit out there. She said unless im mistaken the mike d was goin through some tapes and found his tape. In this interview Adam said it was adrock who found the tape... Just found it interesting but who knows its been a long while since I read that book.

yeah, ive heard that story from numerous sources, though i never recall mike being the the one who discovered ll's tape, always adrock. i believe angus also reported it was adrock. i could be wrong though, its been years since ive read that book.
