I haven't heard of anyone doing anything at all this year, but I'm sure something will pop up. if nothing's going on, I've been invited to hang out at a bar with some aging iconic irish punk rockers...perhaps, possibly, including members of stiff little fingers....it's a bar that jerry springer (allegedly) goes to, and josh homme mentioned in an article once. SUPER COOL! (but probably boring).


I would prefer firework hijinks in a backyard. last year's 4th was pretty weak. as was the year before that. and the year before that...but the YEAR BEFORE THAT? fuckin' off the chain yo.

I guess I'm just drinking here in Italy. I tried to make a tradition of going somewhere on the 4th since it's a 3 day weekend and all but that kinda fell through this year. Last year I went to Ljubljana and the year before I went to Prague. I guess this year I'll just go to the bars.
