it looks...really good (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=2Bh1kD66Oo8) for a video game movie actually. the style looks just about right.

Yeah looks good. I wonder what that thing was at the end? I hope it's Max going crazy and not some tacked-on-made-for-cinema monsters.

I think it's supposed to be a hallucination from the V drug. It took me a second to put two and two together and I've played the games :(

At first, I was slightly impressed with the trailer until I noticed something and also read something:

1. Max's undercover/detective underclothes are replaced with black attire
2. It's going to be PG-13
3. Ludicrous (the silent black cop) is Jim Bravura.

It might break the mold but I'm not happy with these stupid decisions.

What about all the drugs in the games? Surely they'll have to reference the Valkyr abuse in the film and that should make the rating 'shoot up'.

ed norton would've played a better max payne though even though fergie's boyfriend, the dude off transformers, looks SPOT-ON to him.

pg-13 - hopefully that's an MA over here? the game itself isn't that! bloody. there is worser games.

ludacris as bravura... mmmmmm yeah, that's poor. but bravura dies so i care little.

the dude telling him 'remember how you used to hold your breath as you walked past the graveyard..." that has to be him. sounds like him and sorta looks like him the game - minus the mustache.

edit: alright maybe he is... that's so crap.
