some of you may know i have been going through a mini quarter-life freak out and the idea of hitting that nice, neat 25 was the worse thing in the world but now it's here, eh, it's no so bad. it's not as if i can stop the aging process, right? i'm just bummed i'm not early 20s anymore! i'm a completely different box on questionnaires! before it was 18-24, now it's 25 to friggin 35 or 40, even. yikes. ach well. it's all relative.

i went to a lovely mexican restaurant with people from work for lunch and had a rather large margarita so i feel a bit sleepy now, heh. i happen to share a birthday with the one person i share an office with so i scored some mini mario kart toys from him. COSMIC OFFICE FORCES.

tonight i'm going to a fantastic new japanese restaurant for dinner with more people than i previously thought, so i'm pleased. cocktails beforehand, maybe a 80s/90s club night afterwards, woop.

one of my best friends just today found out she has got promoted to director of this city's film office so it'll turn into quite the double celebration, i expect.

meheheh... quite a coincidence as i have been taking significant comfort from seeing adverts on the underground pimping the young persons railcard (in association with the bank of scotland ugh) for people aged 18-25. young people aged 18-25. it was actually you who highlighted the fact i would be ticking a different survey box way waaaaay back in the day, heh. back in the day when i was 15-odd.
