Mine are all tingly and I can barely feel them. My right inner ear is also twitching. What's happening? :(:(

I dunno, your face is about to explode?
could be a food allergy?
sometimes the tip of my tongue goes numb when I smell something like permanent marker or strong perfume.

i really don't know. go along to ER?
you can have a go at our NHS direct (http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/) site if you like. you'll probably find some info there... ?

actually DW is right, tingly lips/ inner ear itching could well be an allergy. try to think of anything unusual you've eaten recently...

uh....it can be a very bad thing. you should call the doctor at the very least.
I take birth control and I was told by my doctor that if I ever expereince numb and tingling lips to call them right away.
it might be nothing, but it can be serious too. don't mess around call an MD

This is the second day in a row it's happened and it starts at the same time of the day, right around mid-afternoon. I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary or taken any new medications or anything, and I'm not on BC, either. Meh. :( I don't have a regular doctor and can't afford to go to the ER. :(:(

HA!
have you eaten any novocaine recently?
sorry to joke about your health problem but yeah i really don't know. like russhie, i sometimes can't feel my lips when i get drunk (that combined with the fact that girls find me unappealing turns making out into a real challenge) but i'm guessing that's not it so...i dunno what to tell you so i'm just gonna make jokes and hope you don't die :(

too many blow jobs!!!!
hahaha.. that is so true. uh, the feeling. not the fact that triple dee may or may not be giving multiple blow jobs /stops right there :/.
hmmm. i don't know, d. self-diagnosing on the internet generally freaks me out more though - i'd always pick, say, the bubonic plague over the common cold if some of my symptoms matched. if it continues much longer, have it checked out!

in massage school i learned that numbness and tingling can be a sign that you have a nerve issue. do you have TMJ disorder? if so, you might have some trigger points there pressing on your nerves that go around your ears and into your face. trigger points pressing on a nerve can cause anything from that annoying itch you just can't seem to scratch enough to.... numbness and tingling!
you may have an issue with your neck, as well. all the nerves of the face come out of the neck and you may have a pinching nerve there.

too low or too high blood sugar could make your lips tingle and turn blue.

God, it's obviously stroke.
I get numb lips all the time.
It keeps reminding me of this (http://media.canada.com/d2ab0b62-0cf1-4ff2-b5d2-35b7f81fc208/210hitch.jpg)

I think I had an allergic reaction to the styrofoam cups at my job. I normally drink out of a reusable cup, one of those sporty bottles with a lid, but I didn't have it with me the past couple days so I used a styrofoam cup instead. I'm using my cup today and haven't had any problems so far. We'll see what happens after lunch though, that's the time of day when I've been encountering the numbness...
