I think b-giri knows but most of you not. (Nor do you probably care, but whatever. The circumstance now is kinda freaking me out, hence why I'm sharing.)

ANYWAI..

My $400+ bike got stolen about two weeks ago. Locked up, it was underneath my porch, we live on a dead end street/not much traffic. Filed a police report, was super-pissed... I get home at about 6:30 last night to find the cops (not one but, like, three-four) just kinda hanging around our house, though no bike. Then they started asking me questions if I was related to/knew this guy (the one who I 'now' know stole my bike, or, had some sort of relation(s) to the poor people involved). Reason for asking? Around 8pm the night before, said guy shot and murdered three in his house (kid who was 16, two other guys who were in their early 20s), bound/chained and tortured the other six or seven I believe. They lived, like, right down the alley from us.

So.. Yeah. I'm to pick Sierra up in a few days (after they do more investigating/forensics and shit). But I'm really fuckin' weary/freaked out by the whole thing. One being that I wished an everlasting case of diarrhea upon those who stole her and instead.. Well, you get the idea.

I know ^this sounds like a whole lotta bull, but it's not. Unfortunately.

WHA TO DOOO? :(

That's really... unsettling. On one hand (being logical) the bike is fine and you've no reason to have a problem with the bike itself. On the other hand... could you maybe do a trade in?

Yeah.. I just.. Feel weird about it. 'Cause the murder was totally fucking brutal, and the bike was apparently INSIDE of the house, so... It freaks me they're holding it for "investigation" - was there blood/brain splatter on it, was it used as a weapon (okay, that's going a bit far- but still)?

I don't want this to be "The Red Bicycle", and Sam Jackson comin' over to my house wanting to take it away. Again. Ha, ha!

If it were me, I know myself, and I'd get rid of it :/

er..who cares about the bike? I think I'd be more concerned with moving to a neighborhood with less heinous crime.

i dont know that crimes like that can be pinned on specific neighborhoods...

it snot like its some drug crime that you can pin on a couple gangs or something. not to scare, but these things can really happen anywhere
