it's a hundred million degrees and i can't sleep

I went to sleep about 11, then woke up with a killer backache at 1.30. Took some painkillers which then made me puke, twice. Tried the other 2 bedrooms to see if it was my bed but it wasn't. So I think by about lunchtime I shall be a dribbling mess.

TV at 3am is quite entertaining though.

its been hard to sleep in my room the past week as well. i have the fan blowing into my face all night and i still woke up the other day dripping in sweat. it's pretty nasty, i can't wait to get out of that hot box.

its been fucking hot here, and humid as balls. as soon as you walk outdoors you're moist all over.

i volunteered to wear a bear suit outside for my work from 11-2 to dance and wave at people, actually i told them i'd do it any day this week, but they already had people. i was willing to risk the possible heat stroke for the $30 a day. the guy today had to keep coming in and taking off the bear head to drink water. he looked like he was going to die.

luckily im staying in university housing and dont pay extra for my utilities, so i can keep the AC in my apartment as cold as i like
